So, just to get you caught up — I have never gardened successfully or even kept a plant alive longer than a couple of months. I am putting in the effort, talking to experts, and getting my butt in the yard to get dirty and grow things!

Adventures of Quarantine Gardening
End of Day Update: May 7, 2020 Remember that fence gate door thing I took down to use as a raised bed? I’m going to use it now! Well, it is in place to be used. Maybe…tomatoes and potatoes? Tomatos and potatos? Endless possibilities — endless possibilities within Zone 7, that is. I also put…
Cheap trip: How to not get broke in Europe
I have recently returned from a one-week trip to Europe with my husband. We stayed for four days in Nuremberg, Germany and for three days in Prague, Czech Republic. In total, we spent 400 euro during all these days on food, museums, and souvenirs.

My Little Big Rome
It took a year to feel that I am ready to tell a story about my journey to Rome. This city was never on my bucket list, and I have not thought about it at all for many years. I’ve never liked the history of this angry city, as I called it to myself. The…
Wichita Mountains: Back to the Oklahoma Hills
This past weekend, nine of us, mostly from our jiu-jitsu/judo gym in Moore, took an 11-mile (18 klicks) trek through the Wichita Mountains. At least three hikers were brand new to ever hiking!
