Draw a place you love; imaginary or real-life (stick figure-style is fine!).
When I was 10 and 11 I lived in Colorado Spring, CO. It was so beautiful. In walking distance of our house was a little park that had a small pond; growing near that pond was a willow tree. I loved this willow. It was at that pond that I experienced meditation for the first time without really knowing I was in a meditative state. The willow tree seemed like a safe place to me; when I would climb in between it’s limbs, I felt secure. I loved this very real place, very much.
My 30 day blogging challenge, day 26 brings to you – a tree I loved very much in Colorado Springs, CO.
