For day 1 of my travel blogging challenge I chose this picture I found of my sisters and I on a day trip, somewhere in the realm of 17 years ago.
In this photo I am the one sticking my head out between my sisters. I was 10 or 11 years old, and we were hiking a local mountain in Colorado Springs. This might have been the first real hike that sparked my interest in pounding trails and mountains. It was a fun experience, a nice little day trip. Good memories.
