Tahlequah, OK Float Trip
This past weekend I went on a float trip down the Illinois River with my USA Stars Jiu-jitsu family and some friends.

This past weekend I went on a float trip down the Illinois River with my USA Stars Jiu-jitsu family and some friends.
Last year my daughter and friend took a drive to Colorado Springs, CO; one of my most favorite places. During our weekend there, we visited Garden of the Gods (free), Pikes Peak (reasonably priced for great memories), and Cave of the Winds (really great prices, especially if you have kids!).
This weekend my daughter and I took our first trip up to Tahlequah, OK to float on the Illinois River like so many Oklahomans before us – and it was a lot fun!
My sister, daughter and I drove to St. Louis, Missouri from Oklahoma to visit the awesome, Washington State University in St. Louis (WUSTL). That school is so sweet.

My Uncle (Wandering World Walkabout) came into town for a few days and we took a hike in the Oklahoma Wichita Mountains.
