The war in Ukraine has led to one of the largest humanitarian crises in the world, affecting millions of people. The King Baudouin Foundation United States (KBFUS) launched its Humanitarian Response Fund for Ukraine to address the evolving needs of eight million Ukrainian refugees and those who were forced to relocate within their country. KBFUS, along with three local nonprofits, People in Need, Caritas Ukraine, and the Polish Red Cross, have been providing essential aid to vulnerable individuals by purchasing supplies, providing food, shelter, psychosocial support, and medical assistance. Despite the ongoing crisis, the KBFUS and its partner organizations continue to make a positive impact on the lives of those affected. Donors can contribute to the Humanitarian Response Fund for Ukraine and claim tax benefits allowed by U.S. tax law for their contributions. By supporting the KBFUS and local organizations responding to Ukraine’s humanitarian crisis, we can come together to help those in need.
