As the Executive Director of Agri Planet Africa, I have had the privilege of working on numerous initiatives that promote sustainable development and empower communities. A Year into Ukraine’s Humanitarian Crisis: KBFUS Humanitarian Response Fund Continues to Make an Impact

It has been a year since the start of the war in Ukraine, which has resulted in one of the largest humanitarian crises in the world. In response, the King Baudouin Foundation United States (KBFUS) launched its Humanitarian Response Fund for Ukraine, which has distributed over $11 million so far. The needs of the estimated eight million Ukrainian refugees and the millions who were forced to relocate within their country are constantly evolving, but KBFUS and the local nonprofits it supports continue to make a positive impact.
